Behnaz is a Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational therapists of Ontario in Canada, and the California Board of Occupational Therapists in the United States. Behnaz graduated in 2008 with a masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. She currently works with youth 2-17 years of age.

Since beginning her career she has sought to provide services in under-serviced communities such as Trinidad and Tobago, where she volunteered in 2008, 2011 and 2014. She also spent a year working with families in South Central Los Angeles in 2012. All of which have deepened her passion for the field.

Behnaz has extensive experience working in clinical, home- based, virtual, and school-based settings. In 2011 Behnaz moved to Southern California to pursue a 6-month internship in Sensory Integration through the University of Southern California. She continued her training and services to families at Paediatric Therapy Network. Throughout her career she has mentored many newly graduating OT’s and OT assistants. Teaching is one of her strong passions. She currently provides services working with top professionals in the field of Paediatric OT in Toronto, Canada.
